The Dragon's Cry

"Guards!" you hear Lord Shrike cry.

I knew it! you think, immediately lunging at him, throttling him from behind with your enhanced weredragon strength.

"Fool!" Lady Valeris screams. "You have ruined everything!"

The guards rush in and attack you and Valeris, who raises her hands and begins to chant.

As a sword buries itself in your side, you scream, watching the light that is growing in Valeris' hands. The silver angel...

There is a deafening roar as the cavern begins to collapse. You see Valeris is untouched by the rocks that begin raining down upon Shrike, his guards, and yourself... until you feel something hit your head, and see no more.
