No Man’s Sky: Disappearing Freighter Base

No Man’s Sky has used to have a bug where if you completely empty your freighter inventory before buying a new freighter, it doesn’t transfer your base. Apparently if you leave at least one item in cargo, it works properly.

(I, uh, found this out the hard way. I’m just glad I’d stored the exclusive tech from the expedition this started as in my starship cargo.)
