Dance of the House Finches

Two small birds, one bright red male and one brownish female, perched on a cable seen against the sky.

The finches have switched positions on the cable, and the male is showing off his tail.

Now the male has taken wing briefly.

The male is back on the cable, fanning his tail while the female looks away.

Now the female is grooming herself, her head turned around with her beak tucked into her neck, while the male looks on.
