[Speed Metal arrives - Flash 118]
Base of Operations: 27th-century Central/Keystone City
Occupation: Robot Police Force
First Appearance: Flash v.2 #115 (July 1996)
Origin: c. 2660

After John Fox became the Flash of the 27th Century, scientists in Central City developed Speed Metal, robots capable of moving at super speed that now patrol the city. They are fully deputized to apprehend and, if authorized, execute their targets. Their prime directive is “to serve and protect...the people of the 27th century.” In some instances, they can be outfitted for time travel to pursue fugitives through time.
