While most Flash comics from the Silver Age can still be found, and the hardest to find are available in Archive editions, Golden Age Flash stories are harder to track down, and often expensive. Fortunately, DC would occasionally reprint older stories during the 1960s and 1970s, and those are easier to find. For the collector on a budget who would like to read classic stories, here is a list of reprints of Golden-Age Flash stories.

Notes
*“The City of Shifting Sand” and “Deal Me from the Bottom” were not exactly reprinted—they featured entirely new art using the original script and dialogue! The reason given was that “the art of the original version was too far below modern standards to reprint the tale as it was.”
†“Strange Confession,” the unused third appearance of the Golden-Age Thorn, has never been printed in its entirety as far as I can tell. Each “reprint” has used a different excerpt, though. Lois Lane #113 (1971) prints the last two pages. Pages 2–3 appear in the fanzine Alter Ego #4 (2000, TwoMorrows). According to the GA Reprint list [archive.org], pages 6–7 appear in the fanzine History of the Comics #7 (1991). The GA Villain Checklist, however, suggests that the story appeared in Robin Snyder’s The Comics v.6 #10 (the same fanzine after a title change). I’m trying to verify this, and if anyone has a copy they want to sell, please let me know.
